Stringing Magazine Jewlery Contest

I designed this necklace for the Stringing Magazine jewelry contest "Channeling Cinderella". This beautiful boro glass cab is hypnotizing to peer at—a swirling liquid burst of color paired with a stunning blue to match the blue of Cinderella's eyes.

I can just imagine this laying, left behind, upon the ballroom floor as the bell tolls midnight and Cinderella slips out of the castle to her awaiting, enchanted coach.

Bloom Where You Are Planted

As I watch the snow melt away, I envision the plants and flowers that will soon be emerging from the soil. They will bloom where once they were planted to fill my yard with color and life again after this long cold winter. I cannot wait to see the first buds break through the soil!

Two Etsy Treasurys in One Day!

Early this morning I scrolled through the Etsy Treasury pages and saw that I not only made it in a Treasury but I am listed on TWO! That is exciting for me. I think these make 8 Treasurys since I opened my shop in August. I feel lucky. It is fun to see someone like something I created enough to place it in a Treasury. One of these days if my graphic design side of my business slows down I need to get back to making some new pieces to post in my shop. Just not enough hours in the day!

Sterling Silver & Natural Brass—BFF

I am trying my hand at designing jewelry with mixed metals. I think this combo of Sterling Silver and Natural Brass compliment each other nicely...just like best friends!
